Louis Hinnant szokásához híven billentyűzetet ragadott, és a kupagyőzelem másnapján leírta érzelmeit. Zalaegerszeg első számú „bloggere” következik, a 34. bejegyzést először a Ziccerben olvashatták egy hete.

Azt a mindenit micsoda hétvége, és milyen klassz érzés Magyar Kupa győztesnek lenni! Már jó ideje hogy a ZTE utoljára elhódította a kupát, de ezentúl a csarnok tetejéről lógva egy új zászló emlékeztet mindenkit arra, hogy a ZTE megnyerte a 2009/2010-es kiírásban a Magyar Kupát.  Őrült egy hétvége volt, több különböző dolgon és sérüléseken keresztül kellett magunkat átküzdeni. A hétvége leglényegesebb része az volt, hogy mindenki, aki a pályára lépett, nagyban hozzá tudott tenni valamit a győzelemhez. Minden csapattársam játéka tetszett. Már hozzászokhattunk ahhoz, hogy Treppi (aka NAGY PAPA), Kámi (aka Cseka) és Kyle (aka Big Smooth) jól játszik, de azt hiszem a ZTE-nél most Gáspi, Chad és Buddy Love jelentették a különbséget.
 
Szerintem, ha bármelyik ellenfelünket megkérdik, hogy mi történik abban az esetben, ha Calvin-t és engem 6 ponton tartanak, biztosan azt válaszolják rá, hogy nyernek! Nos, azt hiszem tévednek ezzel kapcsolatban. Mindig is hangoztattam, hogy lehet, hogy nem nekünk van a legjobb keretünk a ligában, sok tehetséges kosaras pattogtat ellenfeleinknél. De mihelyst együttesként lépünk pályára, és mindenki a csapatért hajt, és próbálja legjobb tudása szerint azt csinálni, amit az edzőink kérnek, nos az az a pont, amikor dolgozni kezd a kémia és egy nagyszerű csapat születik.
 
A Dísz-téri buli frankó volt. Jó volt látni, hogy mindenki együtt ünnepli a győzelmünket. Milyennek találjátok a magyartudásom, haha? "Nem tokelotes magyarul de nem rossz". Már szinte magyar vagyok! 3 céllal vágtunk neki a szezonnak: megnyerni az alapszakaszt, a Magyar Kupát, és biztos vagyok abban, hogy mindannyian tudjátok mi a harmadik célkitűzésünk. A Dísz-téri ünneplésen jól éreztem magam, csak elképzelni tudom, milyen lenne májusban a szökőkútban ugrálni. Én leszek az első, aki beleugrik!

Szóval, ki volt az aki elslisszolt a mezemmel? A meccs után interjút adtam, és hirtelen eltűnt a mezem. Körbenéztem, senki sem volt ott, tehát akárki is járt arra, biztos sportol valamit, mert nagyon gyors volt! Tekintse a mezt egy ajándéknak azért, mert mindig szurkol a csapatnak, ha jól megy akkor is, és ha rosszul megy, akkor is. Ez is egy olyan dolog, amit szeretek az egerszegi szurkolókban, mert más városokban csak akkor érdemelnek tiszteletet a játékosok, ha nyernek. Bezzeg itt nem így van, hacsak nem megy valami fórumon, amiről nem tudok, hahaha.
 
Nem feledkeztem ám meg a "Louis Hinnant - Nagyrabecsült Szurkolókért Nap"-ról sem. Még nem tudom mikor ejtjük meg, de egyeztetni fogok Dallos Ádámmal és a vezetőséggel. Kaptam pár jó ötletet, úgy mint karaoke, mozi, fagyizás a belvárosban, úgyhogy kitalálunk valamit srácok. Magam és a csapat nevében még egyszer köszönjük a szurkolást.

Wow what a weekend, and what a great feeling it is to be the Hungarian Cup champions. It has been a long time since ZTE has won the Hungarian Cup and now we will have a new flag hanging in the gym so that we will forever remember this 2009-2010 Hungarian Cup champions. It was a crazy weekend, we had to fight through many different things and many different injuries. The great part about this weekend is that everybody who stepped on the court was a big part of the victories. I was happy with the play of all my teammates. We are used to seeing guys like Treppi aka NAGY PAPA, Kami aka Cseka and Kyle aka Big Smooth play well, but I thought the difference between our team and the rest of the team were guys like Gaspi, Gergely, Chad and Buddy Love.

I think that if you ask any team in the league if they can hold Calvin and I to only six points then they will win for sure. Well I guess they are wrong about that. I have always said that maybe we don't have the best individual roster in the league, I think there are some talented players on alot of other teams. However, I think that when we put our individuals together and how each player works for the team and tries to do what the coaches ask them to do to the best of their ability then that is when you start to build great chemistry and a good TEAM.

The celebration in the center was great. It was good to see everybody out enjoying the win together. How did you guys like my Hungarian words haha. "Nem tokelotes magyarul de nem rossz". I am almost Hungarian! We came into the season with 3 goals in mind, to win the regular season, to win the Hungarian cup, and I am sure everybody knows what the last goal is. The Hungarian Cup celebration felt very good, I can only imagine what it would feel like to jump in the fountain in May. I will be the first one in. So who was the person that snuck away with my jersey? After the game I was doing an interview and then all of a sudden my jersey was gone. I turned around and nobody was there, whoever that is needs to be playing sports because you must be pretty fast. Consider it as a thank you gift for always supporting the team in the good times and bad times. That is one thing I love about the fans here, in other cities I see that the people only appreciate the players when they are doing well, but not here, unless there are some things going on in the forum that I don't know about hahaha.

I have not forgotten about the fan appreciation day. I am not sure when it can be, but I will try to coordinate this with Adam Dallos and the management. I have gotten some good suggestions like karaoke, movies, ice cream in the center, hey we will figure something out. Thanks again everybody for your support from myself and all of my teammates. See you guys for the first match against Sopron. HAJRA ZTE!
