Micsoda hét volt ez a ZTE kosarasainak! Tudom mindenki azt szeretné, hogy kosárlabdáról beszéljek, de a blog segítségével szeretném megragani az alkalmat, hogy szót ejtsek az Albacomp elleni meccsen történt incidensről Rashad Bell és köztem.
Először is a tettemért szeretnék bocsánatot kérni a csapatomtól, a vezetőktől, a szurkolóktól és az Albacomptól is. Próbáltam a csapatomat és Zalaegerszeg városát képviselni, olyan módon, hogy nem riadunk meg senkitől, se kicsitől se nagytól. De sajnos túl messze mentem és ez a csapatom vesztét is okozhatta volna. Nagyon örülök, hogy végül nyertünk és a csapat KIVÁLÓAN játszott nélkülem. Büszke vagyok a csapatomra és boldog vagyok,hogy a „zalaegerszegi család” része lehetek.
Szintén bocsánatot kérnék a Magyar Kosárlabda Szövetségtől bármilyen ez által okozott kellemetlenségért. De számomra a legfontosabb, hogy elnézést kérjek minden olyan fiatal sráctól, akik kijöttek nézni, vagy a TV-ben, interneten követték a ZTE meccset. Nem tudom, hogy Zalaegerszegen vagy Magyarországon van-e köztük olyan, aki felnéz rám, vagy idővel olyan játékossászeretne válni, mint én – de ha van ilyen és olvassa a blogot, akkor üzenem nektek, hogy az Albacomp ellen történtek nem a pályára valók. A versenysportban az érzelmek néha a legjobbat hozzák ki belőled, néha viszont olyat csinálsz,amit nem kellett volna.
Rashad Bell a Magyarországon kosarazók egyik legjobbja és az az ember, akit a főiskolától fogva már vagy 7 éve ismerek. Hagytuk, hogy az emóciók a legjobbat hozzák ki mindannyiunkból. Szeretném, ha minden fiatal tanulna a hibámból,ugyanis soha nem akarhatod, hogy kiállítsanak. Nem hozhatod a csapatodat olyan helyzetbe, hogy a Te rossz döntésed miatt kelljen nélküled játszaniuk. De mindannyian vétkezhetünk, mi profi kosarasok vagyunk és mégis követünk el hibákat, én is hibáztam, Rashad Bell is hibázott, sőt az életben még a szüleidés tanáraid is hibázhatnak. Senki sem tökéletes.
Én csak azt szeretném üzenni minden fiatalnak, aki szeret sportolni, hogy tudják, nem helyén való úgy viselkedni egy meccsen, ahogyan aztén tettem.
Még egyszer elnézést kérek tettem miatt mindenkitől Zalaegerszegenés Magyarországon is.

Hello Everyone!
What a week it has been for ZTE Basketball! I know that everyone wants to talk about basketball, but I want to use this blog as an opportunity to discuss the incident that happened in the game against Albacomp, between Rashad Bell and I.
First, I want to apologize to my team, the management and the fans, as well as to Albacomp for my actions in the game. In my mind I was just trying to represent my team and the city of Zalaegerszeg,in a way that shows that we will not back down from anyone, no matter how big or small they are. However, I think that it went a little too far and I could have caused my team the game. I am very happy that we won, and the team played GREAT without me in the second half. I am very proud of my team, and happy to be apart of the Z Town Family.
I also would like to apologize to Hungarian Basketball Federation for any inconvenience that this may have caused them. Most important to me, I want to apologize to any kids who come to watch ZTE play, or watch the games on television or on the internet. I do not know if there are any kids in Hungary or in Zalaegerszeg who look up to me, or want to play like me when they get older, but if their is any kid out there who watches the way I play, and reads my blogs, I do want to say that what happened at the Albacomp match is not the best way to go about playing the game of basketball. In competitive sports, sometimes the emotions of the game gets the best of you, and you do something that you probably should not have done.Rashad Bell is probably one of the best players in Hungary and someone that I have known for about 7 years, going back to college, and we let the emotions of the game get the best of us on Saturday. But I want all the kids to learn from my mistakes, because you never want to be ejected from a game. You never want to put your team in a situation, where they have to play without you, because of a poor decision that you made. But we all make mistakes, we are professional basketball players and we still make mistakes, I made a mistake, Rashad Bell made a mistake as well in the match, your parents and teachers will make mistakes in life. Nobody is perfect, I just want all the kids out there who love to play sports, to know that it is not okay to behave that way in a match.
Again I apologize for my actions to everybody in Z Town and in Hungary. Csak a ZTEEEEEEEE
